Why us / Interactive embeds

Slide 27 of the Dell deck isn't a screenshot of a calendar.

It is the calendar. On the Dell PowerEdge XE9680 launch deck, a hyperscaler architect can book an ISG architecture review without leaving the slide, submit the H100 sizing worksheet two slides earlier, watch the 6U rack walkthrough on slide 11, and one-click into the live ISG briefing on slide 32. Because the deck is a website, not a 40 MB attachment, anything a browser can render is fair game.

From the engagementOn the PowerEdge XE9680 deck, slide 27 is the calendar. A hyperscaler architect in Singapore booked an ISG architecture review at 02:14 local without leaving the slide, and the Zoom invite was on the Dell SE's calendar before the deck closed.

In the XE9680 deck

Four live surfaces, four real slides.

Slide 27: Booking calendar

Cal.com embedded inline, with round-robin routing to the Dell ISG SE on-call in the prospect's region (APAC, EMEA, AMER), conditional qualifying questions for cluster size, and hidden fields that pass the deck URL and PIN through to HubSpot. The prospect picks a time on the slide and walks out of the room with a calendar invite. Calendly, HubSpot Meetings, SavvyCal, Microsoft Bookings drop in the same way.

Slide 18: H100 sizing worksheet

Typeform embedded with field validation, hidden fields for deck and recipient, conditional logic that branches on workload (Llama-2 70B fine-tune, RAG, inference), and a webhook that posts the response into the Dell ISG CRM next to the deck analytics record. Tally, HubSpot, Marketo, or a native form posting straight to the Dell endpoint, all available.

Slide 11: 6U rack walkthrough video

Vimeo (Dell's brand standard for ISG video), 4 minutes 12 seconds, captions, chapter markers for chassis, NVLink fabric, power and cooling. Plays inline, scrubs cleanly. Watched percentage is tracked per recipient so the ISG team knows whether the technical buyer actually got through it. YouTube, Loom, Wistia, and self-hosted MP4 work the same way.

Slide 32: One-click Zoom briefing

Zoom is the ISG standard, so the join button is a deep link that opens the native Zoom client where installed and the browser client where it isn't. Useful for "join the live walkthrough now" slides, scheduled office hours, or as a panic button at the back of the deck when the prospect wants a human in the next ninety seconds. Google Meet and Microsoft Teams join links work identically.

How it survives the share

Embeds that don't break in the inbox.

In PowerPoint, Keynote and the AI generators, embeds are bolted on. The .pptx leaves a calendar link behind and the prospect lands on a third-party domain that looks nothing like Dell. The Vimeo becomes a screenshot of a Vimeo. The Zoom button is a hyperlink that opens five tabs. By slide 32, half the audience has closed the file.

Because the XE9680 deck is a URL (slidedeckstudio.com/dell/poweredge), every embed is part of the page. It loads when the slide loads, on phone, tablet, laptop or boardroom display, identically for the AMER channel partner and the APAC hyperscaler. No attachment, no plug-in, no "please open in PowerPoint".

When procurement at a hyperscaler downloads the PDF for their internal vendor review, every embed is replaced by a labelled link and a QR code that resolves back to the live surface. The calendar is still bookable from the printed page on the procurement officer's desk.

Every embed is monitored. If Cal.com or Vimeo has an incident, we know before the prospect does, and the slot quietly falls back to a "we'll follow up" CTA so the slide never shows a broken iframe in front of a Dell customer.
